A client is asking if we can setup Microsoft CRM to use TCP/IP instead of Named Pipes in SQL.

Is Named Pipes required? Would this be relatively simple?

Microsoft CRM Server Setup requires at least the Named Pipes network library to authenticate using SQL Server. By default, both Named Pipes and TCP/IP network libraries are enabled when you install SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005.
