I am being brain dead today. I want to lock down my web server. What would be the TCP and UDP ports and IP Protocols that need to be allowed for this to work.

I want to permit HTTP, HTTPS, FTP.

I know that I have to put in 80,443, 20, 21 in the TCP ports, but what am I missing?

Thanks,

well, what are you doing? those are the ports, but depending on what you are doing we can tell what could be missing. A+, MCP, CCNA

And, denying all other does not mean that your server is protected. Most of the hackers will use the ports that you are keeping them open (they allow dirrect access to those services)! Gia Betiu
