I recently took alot of spyware off my friends computer. And prompt window came up and said the default settings of Winsock were reloaded. Now I can not get on the internet at all with his computer. He has norton antivirus and the email protection said tcp/ip was not found.
I uninstalled his tcp/ip, but he doesn't have his drivers so i have to reinstall them for him. after that should it work or do i have to do something else?

Thanks
Matt

You'll have to set the IP address etc, try setting it to detect automatically initially - there'll probably be a DHCP server that will sort you out in there somewhere. Mike

Mike's right. Probably to many pc's to mess with setting up IP's manually. College would use dhcp. Glen A. Johnson
