TCP/IP & X.25

hello - programmers/gurus!

i have questions re tcp/ip & x.25 in aix 4.2 & aix 4.3:

* can they co-exist in the same system/machine?

* if initially - i have x.25 and running an application, do i need to make changes on my programs to catch datagrams/streams for tcp/ip.

* does anybody knows programmer tips on how to smoothen the transition (fr x.25 to tcp/ip or accommodate both)?
