TCL extended selection implementation

Is there a way to implement an extended selection in TCL, that is where you can
hightlight items 1, 4, 7 from a list. The selection are not contiguous.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Use -selectmode multiple or -selectmode extended.

set lv {1 2 3 4 5}
pack [listbox .lb -selectmode extended -listvariable lv]
