Changing the color of the canvas' brush (Canvas->Brush->Color=...) does nothing about the background color!
Another suggestions please!!!

Regards!

Just a hint, you are more likely to get answers if you continue to post simlar questions in the same thread you started instead of starting a new thread.

Hi!
Background color of what? (in which case ?)
Give an example,please.

regards.

Greetinx!

The Canvas does not have a background color as is, is allows to draw on it with any of colors using Color properties of its Pen and Brush. Brush is used for filling of object that are to be drawn on canvas. Pen is used for drawing lines on canvas.
you should use FloodFill-method to replace color on canvas
of tou need to write your own method to replace color.

This maybe be helpful:

You setted the color but you didn't tell it to paint. Check Borland's help file for the methods you use to paint.
