There is a great PowerToy from MS called TaskSwitch.exe for Windows XP. It allows a screen preview of the normal Alt-Tab thumbnails while pressing Alt-Tab so that if you have, say, multiple PowerPoint Presentations open, and want to switch easily between them, you can! With the default Alt-Tab you only see several PowerPoint icon thumbnails, with no info on which presentation you are on, so its a bit trial and error. This makes TaskSwitch a fantastic (if slow sometimes) tool.
What I want to know is if anyone knows of a similar tool for Win2K Pro? MS doesn't seem to have made one... :(

Thanks in advance,

Will

Hhmmm - i have full info on Alt-Tab under Win 2k Pro.
I can't paste a screenshot in here, but in addition to the thumbnails, I have the doc-name in the statusbar at the bottom of the task-switcher. Dont't you?

You can do Alt+Shift+Tab to cycle through the list in reverse order, which is useful if you have a large number of open tasks.

Oddly enough... I have the doc names on my workstation as you suggested, but not on the laptop the person is giving the presentations on... this is interesting... ?
