taskbar shortcut

I need to remove a shortcut from the left hand side of the taskbar (next to start button)on a number a machines. Anyone know how I could do this in vb script?

These are just .lnk files in the users quick launch folder that can be deleted.

eg to remove the vb shortcut for user chris

KILL "C:\Documents and Settings\chris\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.lnk"
