Task updates in Outlook 2K

This may or may not be possible. I have a team lead here who would like to assign different Tasks to approximately 25 different people. The only thing he would like to have to view is an updated Task list on his mailbox. He does not want to be notified by email everytime these tasks are just simply updated. Is there a way to set it to update the task without going through his inbox?

There isn't any functionality in Outlook that will allow your user to do this automatically.

I have tested this by setting up a rule to use a custom action to have received Task Update forms marked as read automatically but doing so will not update the TASK itself until you actually open the form.

So unless someone comes with a tool that will do this it is not going to be possible. joegz
