Task Span Calcualtion

MSP 2010
Is there a method to calculate the Span of Tasks within the project Gantt Chart View and display as a column ?

By Span I mean the number of Calendar Days or Weeks or Months the Task covers.

I thought this might be a selectable Column that I could insert and display in the same way that I have the Duration Column setup in my Project File now.... however I do not see anything of that nature.

(Perhaps this is a feature that is included in MSP2013 ?)

I am not well experienced in it, but there is a feature to add a custom column with calculation from existing columns. You might want to check that out.
