I am trying to install a product on one of my servers called Altiris. In order to install this I need task scheduler on the server. It should have installed along with the os (NT4 Server). Does anyone know where I can get a download of this application?

Many Thanks

Phil

Hi

Task scheduler is part of the NT operating system and would have been installed as part of the operating system.

Look at the AT command from the command line for details of how to schedule tasks.

moreover :

check if the task scheduler service is running or the MStask scheduler ( there are 2 different schedulers , depends on the the win edition )

you can check it by running : at /?

for example , to run calc.exe on your server :

at \\altiris 23:00 /interactive calc.exe

the installation ofcourse need to be silent if you dont want to watch it over ...
