I am having a strange issue with task scheduler on a couple windows 2003 std boxes.
As some background, I have several jobs that run on the hour to important files into a mySQL database. They have always run correctly, never fail. On 2 of the 4 servers that run these tasks or similar, what I am seeing is that jobs that should be running on the hour (x:00) are slipping. One server was running them at 16 after the hour (x:16), but has since slipped farther to (x:21). The other server that does this is currently on about a 10 minute lag. Its happening to all the jobs on those servers (not just a couple) and they all exactly the same amount of time late running.
Rebooting doesnt help. The clocks on the servers are correct so its not a cosmetic issue.
Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing the slippage? Thanks in advance.
