We are running a Terminal Server and someone today sent a bad msg to the owner. I believe they used task mgr so they could delete their name. Is there a way to find out who did this?

In task mgr you can select a user to send a popup msg to, but you can delete your name out.

For popups, I don't believe there is a way to figure out who sent it. There are tons of clients for sending those messsages, too. You can send them via NET SEND as well.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

Check the Event Viewer, sent messages are recorded there.(can't remember if it's the App or System logs though)
