In MS Offfice I use the task list. Sometimes the task isn't done right away, but at a later date. When I go back to the task list I notice that after a while ot turns to red which to me means that the task has passed but not done. Is there a way for the task not to turn to red after a while? I hope I explained it right.

The task turning to red means that it is overdue. If the task isn't marked as completed by its due date then it changes colour. You can change the colour of the overdue task but there is now way to stop it from changing colour once the task is overdue.

If using Oultook 2003 take a look at Tools ->Options and click on "Task Options...". Those are the options that you have for tasks.

Cheers.

You can put the 'Due Date' far in the future, if you want a work-round for the reminder system.

Also a task without a start date need not have a due date.
