Task folder problems

I have created a Mailbox on the server with all the correct rights and opened the mailbox within my profile on Office XP and the Tasks folder is not visible. I created a new folder for the Tasks but when trying to assign a task to someone the error message is "the tasks folder could not be found" any help would be really good
