Hello. I am new to Microsoft Project. I am entering tasks with durations in my project file, and then linking the tasks finish to start.

The start and finish dates are mostly coming out okay when after linking the tasks, but I notice that one of the tasks that I have as 4 week duration starts on 7/23/07 and finishes on 8/15/07. This would not be 4 weeks according to my calendar. 4 weeks would finish on 8/17/07. I set my standard calendar to have all Sat and Sun as non-working days, so I don't think the weekends are messing me up. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Never mind all. I finally figured in out. I had been messing with Time Units and changed my hours per day and days per week, but that was not synced up with my working hours on my standard calendar. Once I synced these up, everything comes out as expected. Wow, you can really mess yourself up if you dink around with stuff in Project, can't you. : )

Thanks anyhow.
