% Task compete without time & resource factor

Hello,

I am trying to do a very simple thing but i can not able to. I have list of tasks that neither needed time definition nor resources needs to be assign. Just imagine that, i have only two field in my project. Task Name & Current status % completed. i will put some values in sub task so it can be tracked & i get high view of pending tasks.

i tried various available formulas but all time it associates with time & resource factor. is there any way that i can exclude time & resource factor while doing calculation for % complete.

%Complete is based on Duration; It is impossible, therefore, to create a task that excludes time.

You could create a Milestone which, by definition, has 0 duration and you can assign 0, 1 or more resources to a milestone.
