target=" " stops working

I've just started messing with another web page that has three frames, the top frame, side and the main page. The links on the top and the side open in the main page section in the middle using <a href=&quot;rah rah&quot; target=&quot;main&quot;> etc..


This works, however after clicking on a few links the links stop opening in the &quot;main&quot; page and start opening new windows. When the browser is closed and then opened again it works correctly for a while.

Any ideas guys?

It's sorted now! This problem only occured after clicking on one of the links (

http://www.iss.net/security_center/advice/Exploits/Ports/).

After clicking on this link (which opened in the main frame) all other links opened on a new page. I took the link out and now it's okay.

Very strange.
