hello out there..got a mics w/4.1 and asupertrunk using dids.
would like to add one diffrent did to a new group of users.can someone tell me how to program a target line on a phone(t7316) for one user.on the exisiting phones when i look a lines it tells me target line 145 has 7 apperances,also in programming i saw a 700 when i tried to set 700 it would not take.am i making any sense.please help

I will try to help you out, but am not sure what you ment about the 700.
That might be the received digits on the target line you looked at.
Pick a different target line that is not already in use and then set up the received digits to whatever is inbound from your supertrunk that you are wanting to use. You need to be careful not to change a target line that is already being used. Then go in and assign the line as needed. Since you are on a 4.1 system, you might also be using HUNT GROUPS. We could perhaps use a bit more info. to be able to assist you better.

Target lines are under LINES,
They go from 145 UP
Choose a Target line # and hit show

Example:

Show Line: 145
Show
Trunk/Line data>
Show
Next
Public
Next
Rec'd #: 700

This is the recieved number from your provider Very important to know the exact digits, do not overwrite and existing # or that particular DID will not work any longer.
Go to let's say #200 or #250 and if the rec'd #: Says None, you can use this one.


Do not pick

The received digits should be provided by your Telco provider..
