Target Lines 1

If I make a target line private to an ext ie:2236, will this line only be able to be answered by 2236? and if I make it public and I call ext 2236 and when it is ringing can anyone us group pickup to answer the call?

I believe you are correct about the private target line - I very rarely use private target lines. I checked the manuals and couldn't find anything conclusive. I remember that if the target line is private, that you won't get MOH when a call is put on hold.

If the line is set to public, yes, others can pick up the call using either group or directed pickup.
