Intro:
I just read a thread were Marvo suggested that an unemployed telecom guy be hired to solve the IT guys phone problem. I just want to say that I had done that--paid a laid off guy a grand to move and merge two phone systems over a weekend, with a half day of prep work the week before.
Problem: He's great at programming phones, but bad about explaining what's happening in the system and why I can't do what I want to do.
Setup:
MICS 6.0 with 5 M0x16 and 1 ASM
140 DID numbers (1/3 currently unoccupied, 1/3 for a fax server)
Target lines available: 157-284
When the telecom guy merged the two systems unto one MICS, he "randomly" assigned target lines to the "new" extensions. When I need to add extensions, I have to look around for available target lines. I'd like to "clean" things up and put all my target lines in sequence to match my DIDs. But I can only get 127 target lines, so I have gaps.
Is there any way I can get my target lines to go from 157 to 348?
