Hello,
I have a customer who has a MICS with 1.1 software. They have DIDs coming down a T-1, with 4 digits outpulsed from C.O. He has Target Line 147 setup with Received Digits of 3486 (full # 303-274-3486), and the Prime Set is *none*. In the Apps Mod, line 147 is set to Answer: Y, Rings: 0, Table: 3.
When this phone number is dialed, the customer would like every call to terminate in that AA table. What actually happens is the first call terminates OK. The second call rings to x3460. 3460 is the Prime Set on the trunks, (lines 25-48), for the T-1. When the Prime Set is changed to *none* on these trunks, the second caller receives a busy signal. I assigned line 147 to a phone, and test called, the target line stays seized. Am I correct in assuming that the target line can handle only one call to that DID number? Is there a possible work around for what this customer wants? Thanks in advance!!

Try changing the prime set for the target line to be the first DN of the Voice Mail. This should allow more than one call to that target line to go to the voice mail. As a test assign the target line to an ext (ie. 3490) and set the prime set of the target line to be the same as the ext (ie 3490) and try to make two calls. The first call will ring the target line key and the second call will ring in on the intercom key.

Hey,
I tried programming the VoiceMail pilot DN to the Prime Set on that Target Line. When the second call comes in, it attempts to terminate in that DN's (3486) voicemail. Since their is no mailbox associated with this DN, it goes to General Delivery.
I took a spare phone and programmed it as x3486. I assigned the Target Line (147) to that phone, and changed the Prime to x3486. The first call goes to the T.L., the second rings in on the Intercom key.
I don't know if you can only send one DID (number specific) call down the T, because the Target Line is in use on the first call. Not sure either if this is a limitation of the software.

Similar situation, programmed a set with mutliple appearances of target line and AA answered on each one. Two target lines; two to AA, 3/3 to AA etc. Done on a BCM however.

target line 147 (prime set 3486) received digits 3486. Change your voicemail dn to 3486. under AA answer line 147 - Y.

This will allow your DID trunks to be answered with the AA greeting with all ports on your voicemail

I think you will also find that your mailbox must match your local which must mach the received digits. otherwise calls to that set can land in the general delivery mailbox rather than that set's mailbox.

Thanks both of your for your insight. It won't be until Tuesday that I get a chance to try these out. Thanks again!!
