Target Line & Loop Auto-Answer

Hello everyone,

I have setup a loop auto-answer line that gives me a dial tone when I call it. When I try to dial a Target Line, I get a fast busy. Feature codes DO work, as well as access to Line Pools. Why can't I dial a Target Line?

System is CICS 6.1 w/ CP 2.0.

When you say you are dialing the Target Line do you mean the received digits or the line number itself? Try dialing the received digits assigned to the Target Line

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the info. I was dialing the line number itself (061) - which obviously wouldnt work ;-) Stupid me!

I'll try it with the rec'd digits - I'm sure it will work.

Also you can make the received digits for each line the same as each intercom number. It makes it easier to keep track of things.
