Hi

On the AMO Tapro, AD1 has option for up to 15 keys, console has 16 keys, like programming the button 16 of the expander console. H4K v5.

Thanks

I think the standard thing to do is ignore any buttons higher than what you have on the phone. I can't remember back to the 400s and 500s but I know the add-ons in some cases had more or less buttons than the phone supported. I know on the openstage phones when you initially bring up the key module it shows more buttons on the screen than you have on the sidecar. You just program them from the top down and leave the unused ones alone. I seem to remember there was something similar for the older digital phones but can't remember what it was - my giess would be if the phone has less buttons than what it shows on the screen fill them from the top down, if the add-on has more buttons you just can't use them all. Make sure you have the proper phone type set in the station definition as well because that can determine what the add-on looks like, etc.

You can tell the TAPRO what device it is for.
Example to set TAPRO 40 as OpenStage 40
CHANGE-TAPRO:STD=40,DIGTYP=OPENST40;
Then change that TAPRO 40 to suit

That looks like a key module for an Optiset Advanced or Advanced Plus phone. V5 will still allow you to use Optiset phones - I used to do it, but I thought there was a condition - I just don't remember anymore.

The last key is programmed as a 'SHIFT' key so as you can access a further level of keys
When shift is pressed it will light up and then the alternate use is active
