We have a BCM 200 3.01 and are trying to install Tapit Call Accounting software. The BCM is configured on our network and is in the same workgroup as the Call Accounting PC. I've downloaded and installed the CDR collector for Tapit on the PC that will be monitoring the BCM. When I start the CDR collector it comes back with an error that says BCM is unavailable or not on the network. I can clearly see the BCM in my network. What am I doing wrong?

Have you set up a login/password for the cdr collector to login to the bcm?

If you look at the USERS there is one for CDR, set a USER NAME ans PWD.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Also are you using PUSH or PULL for CDR?

The username and password need to match the Windows login on your CDR/Tapit PC.

Adversity is Opportunity

That's not entirely correct as the user name and password need to be set, as well as the permissions, from within the CDR option on the BCM. THen the same needs to be set up on the cdr collector.

Definitely in Permissions under CDR USER in BCM first, but make it match your Windows login.

Adversity is Opportunity

It depends on if your PUSHING or PULLING.
