TAPI / Wave / CTI question

Hi All,
I have a IP500v2 running 9.0.4.0 build 945 with Wave (4) - CTI Link Pro (255) licenses
However a software supplier says they are not compatible with their application.
Are there different versions of the software running on IPO

Have they said what is compatible?

R9.0 software was released in September 2013 but the current version is R11.1

They have not said what is compatible, other than the v9.0 is not.
I am trying to understand the different levels of the application running on the different IPO platforms. Unsure if they are trying to sell me their own telephony platform.
Changing to V11.1 may be too expensive as we have almost 40 licenses on the system, although some are perhaps not currently used.
