Hi,
I was trying to get the call contact feature to work in Outlook 2010 and found this solution:
In the following regitry locations:
Windows 7 32bit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook
Windows 7 64bit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook
Create a new KEY called Call Integration and in that key create a new DWORD called TAPIOVERRIDE with it's value set to 1:
Restart Outlook and you should now have a working call contact option, this is apperently caused by Outlook 2010 using Office Communicator as the default dialling device.
Hope this is useful
