Is the outdial using TAPI included as the "lite/free" ver of tapi or does it require the purchased upgrade?

This is one of those things I can never tell based on the documentation I've found so far.

Thanks!

Do you mean dial from outlook using TAPI ? If you do it comes free on phone manager lite but remember to use the patch found on the user CD if you are using rel 3.0

hope this helps
Dave

That's what I was thinking. Patch on the user CD, hmm I'll have to take a look into this.

Thanks Dave!

The TAPI patch is on the user cd. you need to copy and paste into the system32 folder in windows.
You may have to rename the original file before you paste in the new one (some times you get a message saying the file is in use.) If you have to rename the original file delete it once you have pasted the new patch in!

Hope this helps

Dave (daveinwearside),

Can you let me know the name of the file that is supposed to be replaced in windows\system32 off the User CD? The CD is so full of files, I don't want to overwrite something important!

I have my TAPI Avaya driver configured EXACTLY like my Phone Manager and, in Outlook, it still doesn't show my phone/extension.

ANY help would be MOST appreciated! Yes, we're running IPO 3.0.

It allows the tapi driver to work on some machines!
some machines need it, others don't. I think it also has a little to do with xp and sp2
