I'm looking for information on how to loopback a TAPI interface between a PC and a Siemens Optiset phone. I need to remove the phone from service, but the directory application on the PC will not start unless it sees the phone. I tried using a standard RS 232 loopback on the serial port of the PC but the directory application seems to need to see the phone before it will start.

what system is it on. you will need callbridge software amd a usb interface or a adaptor to connect to phone
And how is the setup, 1 pc > 1 phone or 1 server > all phones?
For the last options you'll need to setup a HG1500 card.
