Anyone out there have an idea on how to use tapi browser.
We have built a new app and I need to trouble shoot some issue with conferences, and transfers.
I have nothing in electronic form -- just paper pages from a student workbook from CCT Ver 6. It's a very long procedure that can be very confusing if you haven't done it before under the watchful eye of someone who's done if before.
Since TAPI Browser is actually a Microsoft utility, you may have some luck finding info on MS's site?
I have looked into Glogabl knowledge. I know that they pretty much do all the training for Nortel. Tell me do you think it was worth your time and money to go there?
Well, you have to get your experience somewhere. If I had a workmate or acquaintance who could impart upon this knowledge upon me, I'd certainly take him up on it. However, with a niche product such as CCT, it's difficult to get into a situation like that.
If you get the right instructor from Global Knowledge, I believe that this class would be worth the time. I was fortunate and had a knowledgeable instructor who knew the material. However, if you get into a class let by an instructor that simply reads from the course material, it would probably not be such a wise expenditure.
I wish I had a mentor for CCT. But like you said Jephph They are far and few between. I am a network guy that was told 18 months ago you are now the phone guy. Our vendor does a nice job, but they only have 1 "guy" that knows anything about it, and he is almost always busy.
We are running SCCS 5, along with CCT 5.0 for screen pops. (just got ride of SA, what a nightmare). Global Knowedge does not train on CCT 5 anymore. (I called and asked).
