Does anyone know how to backup tapi?? I am a phone guy and I have new customer that has tapi and he is asking me figure out how to back his tapi server up. If someone could refer me to the documentation that would be nice. I have looked but cannot find it anywhere.

This is not very complex procedure.
For full backup tapi settings you need complete next steps:

1) Backup %WINDOWS_PATH%\tsec.ini file
2) Backup %TAPI_BACKUP_PATH%\m1spdb.mdb file (by default %TAPI_BACKUP_PATH% is a C:\m1server directory on your TAPI server).

That all.

Are these files in use, or is this the backup of the database? Do we need to backup the registry, or can this server be quickly recovered? If I need to install the agent, when can the server be rebooted?

You will not need to backup the tsec.ini file. It is not needed on 2000 and 2003 server.

I have 3 servers on Windows2000 with tapi v3.0. Every server contain 160-200 configured tapi lines with more then 200 Windows domain users registered on this lines (all lines to all users).
tapitsec.ini contain all settings for assigning Windows domain users to tapi lines.
If you dont save tsec.ini, after backup you will reconfigure all users rights on tapi lines manually !!! Its my expirience !!
