TAPI and the 2050 and a CS1000

Hi, trying to manage calls with the TSP for the 2050 softphone version 3.03.0010 and wondering if this is a crippled TSP. I can activate the line and dial a call, but it provides no other control over the line. I get no call progress events inbound or outbound, so I can not control any calls, just do a basic dial from something like outlook. Is this by designe? No inbound call events letting me know I have a call so I can audomatically answer it and play a wave file? No caller ID? If not, what would be the proper pieces to install to get a full first party or 3rd party TSP? Thanks!

As posted on the other blog, 2050 does not send call progress via TAPI on outgoing calls and does sent CLID via TAPI on incoming calls. If you want call progress/CLID, then you would need to use a CTI interface through the CS 1000 itself.
