Hi,

I need help with TAPI configuration of a BCM 450.

BCM TSP Launcher is started and connected (in service).

But I can't find how to use it with TAPI, the only provider I can see with TAPI are H323 and IPConfig. I think those are not related with the BCM, what I need to configure to enable TAPI for BCM on my WinXP PC?

Avaya LAN CTE client is installed, is there anything else to make TAPI work, I can't find a TAPI setup for BCM.

TY

I have double check in Element Manager and I have a LAN Cte License activated for the IP of the computer im working on.

In Telephony\Advanced, BCM Tapi Service Provider is listed, but when I start BCM Personal Call Manager and try to select a line there no other option than H323, IPConfig, LPT and VPN.

The only one that seem to make some sense is H323 with address 224 (the phone extension used by this computer). But with another TAPI application I can't see events on the lune H323.

The hardware is BCM 450 version 10.0.1.04.138. I have install the LAN Cte directly from the web page hosted by the BCM,

TY

Make sure the box is ticked to allow LAN cte clients.
Make sure you have entered the correct IP address of the user in lan cte and assign it to the extn associated with the PC
You need to reboot the PC after LAN cte install

If you are using user name on the PC make sure you have typed it in exactally as the PC shows it on the computer settings

You should see the extn in the drop down box in the Microsoft outlook box dialling properties

We manage to make it work, we had to uninstall and reinstall 3 times. It seem to have some problems with the installation of LAN CTE on XP 32 bit.

Now the line finally appear in the list. TY
