Brand new to Netbackup. We have an Hp Storageworks MSL98096 Tape Library with two drives. Running Windows 2008 R2 with Netbackup 7.0.1 on the master server. Our retention policy is Full Backups - monthly, and weekly, with daily incremental backups. I just recently started this position and it had been vacant for two months. Backups were being ran, however, I dont think that tape have been rotate. Can you provide me with some advise on how I should proceed. How can I tell what tapes will need to be rotated. I ram a media summary and there are some tapes marked frozen. Will these be the only ones that need to be replaced?
