Tape missing

I have a tape that disappeared from my view in the operation window of legato administrator 6.0. If i choose the volumes tab I see that it is there and i can also see the save sets, but when i right click on my autochanger and go to operations, the slot it is supposed to be in is blank. I checked to make sure it was not in the tape drive and all of my other tapes are still the same labels, so it couldnt of been relabeled. I am 100% sure no one took it out of the library, because it is locked and i am the only one with the keys. PLease help, what how do i get this tape back?

last year a tape 'disappeared' after a L700 unload failure.
In fact, the tape was on the floor, under the drive...

In the GUI, add the volume. If it is in there (in a slot) then it will work. If it is on the floor or not in the changer, it will fail.
