Tape Engine crashes (r11.5 SP4 (Build 4490)) 1

Hi all,
I've got a problem after installing SP2 on a W2k3-server. There is an error in the system log, when I start the tape engine:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: adpu320
Event Category: None
Event ID: 9

Description:
The device, \Device\Scsi\adpu3201, did not respond within the timeout period.

No backup is possible. the driver for the adaptec is up to date...

any ideas?

hi !!

is there more information about the scsi error in the arcserves logs ?

in the windows eventviewer ?

Make sure the cable is ok ?
Make sure the firmaware is up to date too ?

we got it...

I think after the crash of the server, there was a problem with the tape-device. after power off and on, the tape engine is running well... Backup is ok too...
