tape ejecting

could someone please help? even tho ive set backup exec to NOT eject the tape, it continues to do so, not every night but quite often?? any ideas???

What are you doing when it ejects?

to be honest, im not sure when it actually ejects..its set to backup during the early hours and when i come into work in the morning, sometimes the tape has ejected and the backup is still trying to run, ... waiting for the tape to be reinserted...

If the tape is full and it needs another tape to complete the backup it is going to eject.

Clean tape drive several times and retry.

Stop and Start Backup Exec services.

If the problem still persists teh reboot the thing.
