Tape Drives not visible to host

Apologies if this isn't the correct forum....but, I'm having an issue with some tape drives at the minute. I have 10 tape drives on a SAN fabric, but my host can only see 8 of them. The 2 that are missing where previously available, until we had a power issue on our the tape library at the weekend. The drives are logging into the SAN fabric with no issue, but the host just cant see them. Would anyone have any ideas?
