tape drive

What are the command line to make my linux box read the file in the tape drive. I use this command:

read /dev/st0

any suggestion.

Hi. It's not, unfortunately, as simple as that.

First - You need to know how the file was written to the tape. Once you know that we can extract it from the tape, get back to us when you've found out. Mike
