Sometimes when running a backup it will tell me that an error has occured, see log.

Unrecognizable data will be listed on log.

If i try to run the backup again (sometimes just to start with) it will give this error.

a tape device has been detected, & the tape driver started. however, the tape device is not responding. check that tape device power is on & cables are properly connected.

This error is puzzling because all was working fine earlier.
But, I check the cables and power.???

I use Colorado backup t3000 on windows NT4.0

any assistance would be great
