Tape/Drive Compatibility Issue

I am looking into purchasing a new Sony SDX-310C AIT Tape Drive, and the drive's storage stats are 35/90. I've never seen a 35/90 tape on the market before.

My question... Would 50/100 tapes work in this drive? I figure from what I've seen that those would be my best bet. They seem to be the only tapes that would match or beat the drive's abilities... unless that would be a problem and cause an incompatibility problem.

I figured that the tapes are still AIT tapes, so there wouldn't be a problem, but I'm very new to the game.
