Please advise I am getting an error message after backing up my OS. My 4mm
tape does not want to come out. I tried turning it on and off and did a reboot but
still get the error message:

/dev/rmt/0: No tape loaded or drive offline

Anyone ever had this problem??

The only time I found I couldn't eject a tape was when the tape drive died.
If the system is down and you disconnect the drive from the system you should be able to eject the tape.

This is generally the problem of Tape Drive. Contact the Tape manufacturer.

I encountered this problem before. I think my fix was to push in and down on the tape as I was pushing the eject button. It was just a one time happening for me so I can't guarantee this will work for you but it shouldn't hurt anything. Good luck.
