tape DDS 4 problem

i have aix 5.1 ML 05 in p620 system
whene i start backup the backup start and stop in the midle i demand to clean the tape drive

i receive thie message with commande errpt

First question to ask : did you clean the tapedrive ( and I mean , not once, but about 4-5 times, because most of the times once ain't enough )Judging from the entry in the errpt, a dirty read write head could be the problem
second, is your tape good?

yes i have clean the drive and use good tape
i have delte the devive by rmdev -dl rmt0 and execute cfgmgr
and i have chage block size for the drive to 0
the probleme are resolver during 2 day and it reapear

Did you install the latest microcode for your drive?
If the problem re-appears, I'd call IBM support if you have a maintenance contract, and let them replace the drive.
We had a similar problem with one of our machines.They just replaced the drive, all has been fine since then
