Tape Copy Queru

I have implemented a backup solution backup data to a FDS every day (Friday full backup , then differential till the following Friday).

What command do I use in TapeCopy utility to copy the back up to FDS night before to tape. I have three jobs running as its is backing up three Netware servers via Agents.

I have read the help and other resources about Tape Copy but cant seem to find the answer.

I am using ArcServe for Windows r11.5

Hi,

You could use the Query option to query the database for a date and perform tape copy..

Use the Topy copy syntax with this switch
-qOnOrAfter <MM/DD/YYYY>, <hh:mm>
Queries the BrightStor ARCserve Backup database for the date and time greater than given.

This is detailed on the BAB help.

Why not used the disk staging ability that comes with r11.5 to do this automatically for you on a policy based basis ?
