Hello,

I am testing Disaster Recovery options. My lab is setup to where we have a worst case scenario and all servers are lost and need to be rebuilt and data restored from tape. I did a new install of ArcServe r11 on Win2003 Server. I have a tape that I need to import/catalog/inventory into ArcServe so that I can see whats on it and start to restore my other test machines. How does one do an import/catalog/inventory/whatever its called so I can see what's on the tape and be able to restore from it?

Load the tape
Manager Utilities
Merge to read the session catalog files into the current database.
Recover to replace the current database with a backup copy on the tape (if there is one on this tape).
