I am about to bring up a new server and so I will be switching a SCSI tape drive from the old server to the new one. With this in mind, if I want to use SCSI, I need to purchase a SCSI card. But I already have USB 2.0 in this server so I was thinking that my other option is to purchase a "USB 2.0 to SCSI" adapter.

So here goes the question for discussion... which option would work the best? The SCSI card I am looking at would run at 160MB/Sec where USB 2.0 will run upto 480MB/Sec. To me, the USB 2.0 option sounds like a no-brainer but am I missing something??

Thanks!
