tape autoloader in arcserve 11.5 1

We just bought a quantum superloader 3 and Im having trouble getting the udhl device to stay online, when I go into device configuration, both devices show up, the quantum uhdl and the certance drive.....but I cant assign one of them. I get a "failed to assign device, max devices added. Or a similar message about scsi could not be moved. Please advise

assign it manually - in an auto-loader it really doesn't matter if you assign it manually or not since there is only ever 1 drive bay location.

also be sure that the latest device fixes are applied.
CA's Certified Device List mentions some issues with this type of autoloader.
