Hello again 
I posted this problem up a couple of weeks ago..I thought that maybe there was a problem with the actul tapes so i bought a new one..however last nites backup failed even with a new tape..the backup has been running fine for a few days, this problem has just cropped up out of nowhere again..heres the log file:======================================================================
