TAO Corba Security - SSLIOP & signature

Hi,

I try to implement a corba event notification program. I would like to know if this can be done with SSLIOP or Signature(public & private key)?

I heard that Signature is more efficient than SSLIOP, is that true? Where can I obtain more information about using Signature with TA corba?
