Its me again.... I have another thread about MCDN and centralized AA. I ended up having to give up on that due to to many side affects with having one system with pots lines and SIP trunking on R2.0 (MWI not supported)and various other issues the customer did not like (no caller ID form the POTS system etc.)
Now I need to try and set up least cost routing for the 2 sites using the private VOIP trunks to access the PSTN on the other system.
Can any one tell me how to do this? Basically I have site A (NPA-630)using POTS lines and site B (NPA-262)using a PRI. Both systems are linked with SIP trunks using a destination code (Site A uses 1, and Site B uses 4)to access the other system. Both systems have the MCDN key codes and use 9 to access the PSTN.
I think I need to set up a destination code in the Gateway, a remote access code, a new route, and a new Pool Bloc set as public. I am definitely not sure if this right, it is just what I have read so far in the Networking Config manual.
If I set up a route to send the call from Site A to Site B I need a route that says 91414A, absorb the 9 and route it throught the IP trunk to the other system. How does the other system add the 9 back on, through an access code?
Step by step instruction would be awesome, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
